I have been building a new website and so I am yelling "brand" to myself. At the same time I am building a cache of info that I can give away on my website to properly create authenticity which requires that I support "brand" in the topics and processes that I choose to write about. At the same time I am creating a pitch deck that will tell the story of "brand" and capture essence, values and purpose.
Brand unity is all about finding my voice - then going back to refine and clearly articulate the messsage around brand mission. Then it is going to some stranger and ask them to read and tell me what my "brand" is. Then I have to go back and create (which will mean maintain) a clear visual style so that regardless of where my audience finds me, they know me.
This I know and this is what drives me - the more I can establish a dependable and distinct brand experience, the more my current and potential investors will reward me.
